Pakistan’s sacrifice in war on terror ‘unprecedented’, says Rasheed

ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed has stated that Pakistan has rendered unprecedented sacrifices in war against terror.

Speaking to media after Peshawar bus blast, Pervaiz Rasheed said, “We want to give peaceful Pakistan to future generations.” He said Pakistan wants peace in entire region including Afghanistan.

Commenting on women protection law, the minister said they were consulting Ulema over the law and reviewing the un-Islamic clauses of it.

He went on to say that democracy gives freedom of speech, adding that people join and quit political parties.

“Law and order situation in Sindh has improved as compare to past,” the minister added.
