COMIC RELIEF
Deep within a forest a little turtle began to climb a tree. After hours of effort he reached the top, jumped into the air waving his front legs and crashed to the ground. After recovering, he slowly climbed the tree again, jumped, and fell to the ground.
The turtle tried again and again while a couple of birds sitting on a branch watched his sad efforts. Finally, the female bird turned to her mate.
“Dear,” she chirped, “I think it’s time to tell him he’s adopted.”
A man moved to a mountain top to get rid of the hustle and be alone. One day he heard a knock at the door but didn’t see anyone there. Then he looked down and there sat a snail. ‘It is quite cold out here, can I come in? asked the snail.
The man shouted, ‘No, why don’t you all understand I want to be alone!’ He kicked the snail down the mountain.
One year later, there was a knock at the door and again no one was there. He then looked down and there again sat a snail and it said,
‘What did you do that for?’
A mother mouse and a baby mouse are walking along when, all of a sudden, a cat attacks them. The mother mouse goes, ‘Bark!!’ and the cat runs away.
‘See?’ says the mother mouse to her baby, ‘how important it is for you to learn a foreign language?’
