KARACHI: A Rs10 billion scandal involving AMI Pakistan shipping company and importers in illegal clearance of containers of Indian clothes has surfaced.

The group has flooded the Pakistani markets with Indian clothes despite a ban. Customs officers said the smuggling was going on through fake documents. They said Indian clothes were first dumped in Dubai and then brought to Pakistan but in documents they were shown to be imported from China.
