Shah Rukh Khan is busy wrapping up Raees and the shooting continues in full swing in Mumbai as Shah Rukh has an interesting line-up of films to finish this year. He is already working on the post production activities of his much-awaited film Fan that is due to release in mid-April. He has also started shooting for his untitled film in Goa with Alia Bhatt. The film is directed by Gauri Shinde, who has earlier directed Sridevi’s comeback venture English Vinglish, and it also stars our very own Ali Zafar in an important role.
Coming back to Raees, last year when Shah Rukh tweeted Mahira Khan, in response to her compliment on his pairing with Kajol in Dilwale, he said, “Uff, we will look good in Raees too”. But little did we know what was coming our way until we saw few pictures, circulating around last week, where the two of them were taking a ride on the streets of Mumbai in a jeep while shooting for a scene. Today the internet got another glimpse of the duo right from the sets of Mumbai. Mahira, who plays Shah Rukh’s wife in the film, looks simply beautiful in a simple shalwar kameez and we must say that Shah Rukh, who plays a ruthless bootlegger from Gujarat, looks quite impressive with the bearded look and that pathani attire.
Mahira, who was last seen in Ho Mann Jahaan, is currently in Mumbai to finish the second schedule of the film.
Raees which is all set to clash with Salman Khan’s Sultan this Eid marks Mahira’s debut in Bollywood. Last year, the clash with Bajirao Mastani proved to be a costly decision for SRK and his team. Whether Sultan succumbs to Raees, only time will tell.
