KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Farooq Sattar on Monday adopted a harsher tone over what he saw further divisions in his faction of the party which came into being after the eventful day of August 22.

‘Test of our patience should end,’ he told a press conference and added that the party was being victimized despite curtailing ties with London chapter.

He said that the MQM-Pakistan's political and social freedom was being restricted.

The MQM has been facing defections and divisions following Altaf Hussain’s speech against Pakistan and media on August 22.

Farooq Sattar and most of Pakistan based leadership distanced itself from Hussain and vowed to carry out their political struggle for the rights of Muhajir community, prompting the  party supremo to form  a new decision making body of the party to look after the party’s affairs in Pakistan.
