Malik says no corruption case against him
Updated at: 2310 PST, Saturday, November 21, 2009
ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik said there is no corruption cases filed against him, adding cases after cases were filed against him to keep him jailed.

He said the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) cabinet approved the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO); accordingly, it makes no sense for PML-Q leadership to pass statements against the NRO.

According to a statement issued here, Rehman Malik said the cases against him were filed, as he rejected to go against Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.

Malik maintained that he would unfold the facts about the background of the NRO, as the time comes, adding the courts dispensed the cases against him on time and he would give evidences in this connection on a suitable time in future.
