GILGIT: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain urged the people in Gilgit-Baltistan to vote for the candidates belonging to the middle class for the Legislative Assembly.
He was addressing party workers, members of Rabta Committee and public representatives and provincial organizing committee and the MQM office-bearers in Gilgit-Baltistan by phone from London.
On this occasion, Altaf Hussain was apprised of the electoral campaign in the area.
Altaf Hussain said the MQM is the only party in Pakistan which emerged from the poor and middle class and is representing the poor class of the country, adding the MQM is struggling to end the archaic feudalistic system and corrupt political culture from the country. |
