PM, President mull over national political situation

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani held a tete-e-tete with President Asif Ali Zardari and mulled over national issues, Geo News reported Thursday.

According to Geo News sources, the Premier Gilani called on the President Zardari on his residence at Presidential House.

The sources said the meeting mulled over the changes in cabinet, transfer of ambassadors, differences with the coalition partners, the situation emerged after the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) was not presented in the Parliament and the future strategy.

When contacted by Geo News team, the media team of Presidential House said they are unaware of the meeting.
