Pak soil not to be used against Iran, Malik assures |

ISLAMABAD : Iranian Interior Minister Mostafa Muhammad Najjar left for homeland after completing his two-day Pakistan visit, Geo News reported Sunday.
Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik saw him off at Chaklala Airbase.
During his visit, he met President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and the chiefs of the security agencies.
Rehman Malik, after seeing off Iranian Interior Minister Najjar, said Pakistan and Iran have brotherly ties and keeps the country and its people with high esteem, adding Pakistan will not allow its soil to be used against Iran.
Rehman A Malik said that Pakistan is a victim of terrorism and it would not allow anyone to use its soil for terrorist activities.
The Iranian counterpart thanked Rehman Malik for their hospitality and expressed the hope the relationship between both the countries would further be strengthened and bolstered. |
