7 foreigners among 12 killed in Bajaur, Mohmand

  KHAR: At least 12 persons were killed including seven foreigners during ongoing military offensive here in Bajaur and Mohmand Agencies on Saturday, Geo news reported.

According to sources, militants launched attack on security forces’ Agra check post located in Anbar tehsil, killing one security man and injuring three others.

Moreover, nine militants were killed and scores other injured in retaliation from security forces, sources said adding, seven foreign and 2 local militants were also killed during clashes.

Three more militants were killed amid forces-militants clashes while three sustained injuries, sources added.

16 militants laid down arms and surrendered to security forces in Mamond tehsil meanwhile, four militants were arrested from Khar headquarters, sources added.
