Sarah Palin will not re-run for Governor of Alaska

ALASKA: Several media sources are now reporting that former Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin will not run for re-election as the Governor of Alaska.

Governor Sarah Palin, who has been a media firestorm target since her run for vice president alongside former Republican presidential candidate John McCain, will not run for re-election - and it's been reported that she will step down from her position as Alaskan Governor later this month.

According to Sarah Palin's husband Todd, Sarah wants to focus on things that her job as Governor won't allow her to focus on, suggesting possibly that her interests lie on the National level. It is being reported that Lt. Governor Sean Parnell will take her place later this month.
