Shahbaz restores dismissed police officers |

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has restored the suspended police offices namely SP Gujranwala Ather Waheed and Constable Naveed late on Tuesday, Geo news reported.
It is pertinent to mention that SP Gujranwala Ather Waheed was suspended over his denial of arresting the political leaders and activists during the lawyers’ long march earlier this month.
Constable Naveed handed over his police cap and belt in course of huge public rally of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif showing solidarity with him in the context of Sharif brothers’ disability, following which Naveed was dismissed by the higher officers. |
