YANGON: Three people suffered minor injuries after a small explosion on Thursday outside City Hall in Myanmar's main commercial city Yangon, a police official said.
The blast hit in the morning at a park in the downtown area, the latest in a series of explosions that have hit the military-ruled country this month.
"Three people were slightly injured because of an explosion. They were sent to the hospital," said the police official, who did not want to be named as he was not authorised to speak to the media. Police gave no further details of what caused the explosion. |
