Bank of Punjab new board of directors constituted |

ISLAMABAD: The ministry of finance has constituted new board of directors of Bank of Punjab.
According to a notification issued by the ministry of finance, Suhail Ahmed, Shafqat Elahi, Shafqat Mehmood, A. Aslam, Aneeq Khawar and Javed Mehmood will be the members of the new board of BoP.
The federal government taking notice of alleged irregularities in Bank of Punjab during the tenure of former government had removed the president of the bank and announced dissolution of the board.
The new board will meet tomorrow to elect the new president.
The meeting would also review the financial matters of the bank and alleged irregularities during the previous government. |
