PPP Secretary General Senator Jehangir Badr has said that he will soon reveal the actual agreement between slain party Chairperson Benazir Bhutto and former President Gen (Retd) Pervez Musharraf.
Flanked by the party members, including Munir Ahmed Khan and Zakrya Butt, the PPP leader said he would soon provide actual facts regarding the NRO.
Jehangir Badr, whose prime target was no other than former President Farooq Ahmed Khan Leghari during the entire press conference, said that not only the NRO beneficiaries, but those who had to pay billions of rupees to banks should also be held accountable.
He said all the four references filed by Munir Ahmed Khan in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) should be reopened.
Coming hard on the former president, Badr said Farooq Leghari was also one the of Musharraf’s cronies like Shujaat Hussain when the NRO was under consideration.
He said Farooq Leghari, his son Awais Leghair and other members of their family, should be held accountable for their various corruption scandals such as cooperatives and PTCL scandals.
