Naveed struck 14 hits to the fence in his 144-ball knock as Karachi Whites cruised to 160-1 to hand SNGPL their first defeat in the tournament.
The hosts rode on match-winning hauls from medium pacer Tabish Khan and spinner Misbah Khan, who helped Whites to dismiss the balanced SNGPL twice in the match. Tabish, who picked up 6-112, took four more wickets in the second innings to finish with match figures of 10-219. Misbah followed his 3-41 in the first outing with an impressive 5-101 to help Whites dismiss SNGPL for 364 in the second innings.
At the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Wajid Ali smashed an impressive century for SSGC as their match against ZTBL ended in a draw. Wajid faced 193 balls and hit 21 fours in his 143 as SSGC scored 302 for 9 in their second innings. Ahmed Zeeshan struck ten fours in his 168-ball 79. Wajahatullah Wasti and Abdul Razzaq picked up three wickets apiece for ZTBL.
At the Niaz Stadium in Hyderabad, Nasrullah Memon and Sharjeel Khan smashed sparking tons for Hyderabad to secure a draw for the home ream against Faisalabad in their Group B match.
Hyderabad, who resumed their second innings at 144-1 on the final day of the match piled up 462-5 in 116.2 overs. Memon faced 268 balls for his 144 that included 17 fours. Sharjeel scored 120 off 199 balls with the help of 17 fours and a six.
