Anti-polio campaign in Quetta from November 16

According to a statement issued here on Sunday, he said that anti-polio vaccine would be administered to children at hospitals and health centres while teams would also be constituted to administer the drops at doorsteps.

He noted that anti-polio drive would continue for three days in collaboration with Unicef. He called upon parents to ensure administering the vaccine to their children during the campaign. Godown catches fire: A godown located in Hazarganji area caught fire due to electricity short circuit.

It was learnt on Sunday that fire caused by electricity short circuit engulfed goods in the godown, however, two fire brigade vehicles reached the scene and extinguished it after hectic efforts of one hour. No loss of life occurred but goods in the godown gutted.
