Landmine kills two in Mohmand: Two civilians were killed when a vehicle hit a roadside landmine in Mohmand Lower Agency Saturday. Tribal sources said the pickup van ran over the landmine in Kasai Anbar area, triggering an explosion. As a result, the driver Aziz Khan and Shad Ali, cleaner, were killed on the spot. The mine was apparently planted to target the security forces.
Meanwhile, two suspected persons were arrested at a checkpoint in Yakkaghund area. They were identified as Muhammad Saeed and Alat Khan, residents of Dawezai.
