Security forces arrest 75 suspects in Bajaur

KHAR: The security forces arrested 75 suspected persons during a search operation in various areas in Khar tehsil while 21 illegal Afghan nationals were deported by political administration, official sources said Thursday. The sources said that the security forces and political administration jointly launched a crackdown on militants and miscreants and arrested 75 suspected persons in Fajja, Tauheedabad, Shandai Mor and Lashora areas in Khar subdivision. The arrested suspects, whose names were not disclosed to the media, were later shifted to a secret place for interrogation.In Mamond tehsil, the security forces dynamited the house of a militant commander while four militants surrendered to the forces. The sources said the security forces also defused a roadside bomb planted by militants during search in Inayat Killay Bypass. Meanwhile, the political administration deported 21 Afghan nationals to their home country. The political administration had earlier arrested them for their illegal stay in Bajaur.
