This third consecutive visit to the exhibition, last two trips were in 2007 and 2008, is part of the process of broadening the exposure of gems and jewellery industry of Pakistan to the outside world.
In the exhibition, the PGJDC has organised Pakistan’s pavilion, where 10 companies from the gems and jewellery industry are displaying their products brought from different regions of the country.
These exhibiting companies belong to Karachi, Peshawar, Hyderabad and Gilgit-Baltistan.
The PGJDC is also facilitating a 10-member delegation from the industry, which will benefit from business to business (B2B) linkages with their counterparts in the Middle East.
Dubai, being the hub of international trade, fascinates buyers and sellers from all over the globe and this brings diversity in tastes and preferences.
