CJ to address Mansehra Bar

MANSEHRA: Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry would address the District Bar Association soon, a representative of the lawyers said on Tuesday.

Speaking at a press conference, the president of District Bar Association Mansehra, Shahjehan Khan Swati said that a delegation of bar extended invitation to the chief justice on Monday which he accepted. “We hope the CJ will visit the district soon,” the Shahjehan Khan said, adding, the delegation extended full support to the CJ in eradicating the menace of corruption in the judiciary.

Shahjehan Khan said that the CJ stressed upon the lawyers to utilise all their energies for the betterment of the society. The bar president said that the delegation lauded the revolutionary changes in the existing judicial system aimed at speedy dispensation of justice to the ordinary people of the country.
