Chief Secretary (CS) Sindh, Fazal-ur-Rehman, has emphasised upon the Local Government (LG) department and all District Co-ordination Officers (DCOs) to evolve a policy ensuring the provision of clean drinking water throughout Sindh in consultation with the Indus River System Authority (IRSA) and Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB). The CS, while reviewing public complaints and taking action on press reports, emphasised on the provision of potable water for the province. He maintained that leakages in water supply line must be removed systematically and must be followed by strengthening the monitoring system of water supply network.
