Islamabad: Following the removal of illegal structures and encroachments, the Bhara Kahu Girls Degree College will be inaugurated shortly.
The regular classes will begin at the educational institution on the capital city's outskirts thereafter.
This was stated by Minister of State for the Capital Administration and Development Division Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry while talking to reporters here.
The minister said he had ordered the Capital Development Authority and Islamabad district administration to carry out a joint operation against illegal structures and encroachments at the college.
He said the operation was successfully conducted on Friday evening. The minister said the college had been under illegal occupation for the last six years. “Regular academic activities will start at the college very soon after its formal inauguration,” he said.
