ISLAMABAD: Chief of the Air Staff Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman on Thursday visited Qatari Armed Forces Headquarters.
During the visit, the Air Chief called on Chief of Genera Staff Qatar Armed Forces Major General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem and Commander Qatri Emiri Air Force Major General (Pilot) Ahmed Ibrahim Al Malki, a PAF press release issued here said. They discussed matters of professional and mutual interest.
The Air Chief highlighted the contributions of Pakistan Armed Forces and particularly PAF's role in operation Zarb-e-Azb. Major General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem appreciated PAF's unmatched professionalism and its pivotal role in the ongoing operation against terrorism.
He also thanked the Air Chief for sending JF-17 Thunder and Super Mushshak aircraft to Qatar for aerial display. Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman along with Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is on an official visit to Qatar.
