Activists of different political parties join ANP

TIMERGARA: Dozens of political activists on Sunday announced to quit different parties and announced joining the Awami National Party (ANP) in Khall UC, Toormang-1.

Several activists including Malak Rasool Khan, Malik Hazrat Gul, Ghaffar Khan, Malik Bakht Roidar Khan, Malik Amin Khan, Malik Zahid Syed Khan, Jawad Khan, Rashid Khan, Malik Zakir Khan, Bacha Syed, Naeem Shad, Wasim Khan and others announced to quit different political parties and joined the ANP at a function at Walo Tangay Kandaw in Lower Dir.

Speaking on the occasion, member of the ANP provincial council and district councillor Malik Muhammad Zeb, Malik Aftab Khan, Malik Hafiz Asfandiyar, Malik Fazli Ghafoor and Malik Nasir Shah said that the people of Tormang had been deceived by political parties in the name of religion. District councillor Malik Muhammad Zeb announced Rs.1 million each for Walo Tangay Kandaw and Azizabad to Kafir Kot road.

Also, former candidate for PK-96 Nasir Shah Jan advocate announced quitting PPP and joined the PTI along with his other colleagues at a function at Lal Qila, Maidan, on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the body of a youngster, who was killed in a road accident at Saudi Arabia a week ago, reached his native Nawagai village in Rabat in Lower Dir. Hundreds of people from all walks of life attended his funeral prayers. The deceased was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard at Nawagai Rabat.
