Islamabad: Eighteen vice principals and headmistresses (BPS-18) of the Islamabad model schools and colleges for girls, the erstwhile FG schools, have been promoted as principals (BPS-19).
The promotions recommended by the Departmental Selection Board last month have been made by the Capital Administration and Development Division, which oversees the government educational institutions in Islamabad through the Federal Directorate of Education.
According to a notification issued by CADD deputy secretary (administration) Habibullah Shahid, the vice principals and headmistresses promoted include Amina Bibi, Samina Khanum, Rubina Naz, Aliya Kanwal, Rizwana Rao, Sajida Kiani, Rizwana Tehseen, Shahida Tasneem, Zakia Nasreen, Nargis Parveen, Shahnaz Kausar, Tahira Fatima,
Mumtaz Tabassum, Shafqat Ara Kaukab, Tahira Nasim, Rukhsana Naseem, Rohi Tabassum and Parveen Akhtar.
The promotion of most of them i.e. 15 will take effect from last month, while the rest will be considered promoted in next month.
All the principals will be on probation for one year in line with the Civil Servants (APT) Rule, 1973.
