Four inter exam candidates caught using unfair means

Four candidates were caught cheating during the papers of Islamic Studies (Elective), Principal of Accounting and Special Military Studies of Intermediate Part-II Annual Examinations 2016 on Thursday. 

According to a Lahore Board spokesperson, two candidates bearing Roll No 582689 and 582786 were caught cheating during inspections of examination centres of Punjab University while the other two Roll No 637470 & 637569 were caught for having mobile phones with them during the examination from the exam centre of Govt College, Sharqpur Sharif. The board registered UMCs against the four candidates. 

Lahore Board Chairman Dr Muhammad Nasrullah Virk directed that a police case should be registered against the examination staff as well as the candidates having mobile phone in the examination centre.

He directed the special squads to ensure their presence in all the examination centres within jurisdiction of Lahore Board before the starting of examination and at the time of entrance in the examination centre, the candidates must be scanned/body search strictly. At least 43 unfair means cases have been registered so far
