Man killed for ‘honour’

FAISALABAD: A man was killed for honour at Chak 202/RB, Bhaiwala, on Tuesday.

Faisal Masih of Sialkot came to the house of his beloved to meet her. In the meantime, her brother Yousaf Masih also came to the house and allegedly shot Faisal dead. Police have registered a case under Section 302 of the PPC and started investigation.

GASTRO PATIENTS: Due to scorching heat in Faisalabad, more than 100 patients of gastroenteritis were shifted to the Allied and Civil hospitals here.

Samundri Additional Sessions Judge Malik Mushtaq Ahmad was among the gastro patients. He was admitted to the Allied Hospital on Monday but was later discharged after medical treatment. The number of gastro patients being admitted to the two hospitals was increasing day-by-day.

BIKER KILLED ON ROAD: A motorcyclist was killed in an accident on Mananwala Road on Tuesday.

Ali Rasool was on his way when a speeding bus hit him. As a result, he was seriously injured. He was shifted to the Civil Hospital where he died. Police are investigating.

MAN INJURES MOTHER: A man injured his mother over a minor issue at Chak 52/RB in Balochni police limits.

Muhammad Kashif allegedly shot at and injured his mother Zahida Perveen when she objected to his late coming to the house.
