ISLAMABAD: The Senate Special Oversight Committee on Tuesday discussed the implementation status of its recommendations.
The committee met here at the Parliament House under the chairmanship of Javed Abbasi. Saifullah Magsi, Saeed Ghani, Zahida Khan and Farooq Naek attended the meeting.
The committee observed that there should be a single anti-corruption agency in the country. It decided to invite the Interior and Law secretaries and the Federal Investigation Agency director general in the next meeting. The Establishment Division secretary briefed the committee on the implementation status of recommendations pertaining to eradication of corruption in the federal government departments, adopted by the parliament on October 6, 2015.
The Climate Change secretary also briefed the committee on the implementation status of its recommendations.
