HSSC annual exams to start from May 7

As many as 179 examination centres have been set up for Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Intermediate annual examinations 2016 which will start in Rawalpindi Division from Saturday.

According to Chairman Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) Dr. Muhammad Zareef foolproof arrangements have been made for transparent and smooth holding of HSSC annual exams.

The roll number slips have already been dispatched to the students by the board.

Roll number slips of private candidates have been sent to their mentioned addresses while slips of regular candidates were sent to their related institutes.

Apart from the board s office at Morgah near Attock Oil Refinery Rawalpindi the students can also contact controller examination s phone number 051-5450917, 18 in case they could not receive the roll number slips.

He informed that 60,013 candidates including 24,996 male and 35,017 female students were issued roll number slips to appear in the exams.

Out of total examination centres 94 are for female students and 72 for male students while 13 combined examination centres have also been set up.

He informed that special monitoring teams have been formed which will present report to him on daily basis.

A special cell has also been set up and complaints about any examination centre can be sent on fax number 051-5450912. Action on the complaints will directly be taken by him he added.  Special squads for surprise checking of the examination centres have also been made.
