Four POs escape

PAKPATTAN: Four proclaimed offenders (POs) escaped with the help of their accomplices on Thursday.

PO Saeed Ahmad escaped when he was alerted by his accomplice Jehangir of Chak 205/EB about the arrival of police.

Police raided Chak 6/EB to arrest PO Niaz Ahmad but his accomplice Ali Ahmad alerted the PO about the police and he fled. In the same area, PO Muhammad Akram escaped when he was told about the police by his accomplice Muhammad Ahmad and fled away.

PO Sarfraz escaped with the help of his accomplice Muhammad Latif of Chak 106/EB when police raided the area to arrest him.

Police have registered separate cases.

BOOKED FOR RENTING HOUSE: Police booked two house owners on charges of renting his house without informing police.

Accused Sadaqat Ali of Bonga Hayat rented his house to two people without informing police.

Police booked accused Intizar Hussain of Bonga Hayat for renting his house to Riaz and Bilal of Bonga Hayat without informing the police.

AGRICULTURAL TOOLS DISTRIBUTION: Parliamentary Secretary of Labour and Human resource, MPA Mian Naveed Ali Thursday said the government under the leadership of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif is focusing on the welfare of farmers.

He stated this while giving agriculture tools to farmers at the district agriculture office in a ceremony. The secretary Auqaf also spoke.
