Roots holds graduation ceremony

High achievers of Roots Ivy International/ Roots School System, DHA1 Flagship Campus, Islamabad, got together to celebrate the outstanding success stories and achievements of the graduating class of 2016 at Jinnah Convention Centre, says a press release.

The ceremony was attended by students, proud parents, guests of honor, members of the diplomatic community, social dignitaries of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, corporate society, heads of NGOs, educationists, media and members of Rotary International.

Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian M. Nawaz Shariff sent a congratulatory note to Khadija Mushtaq (TI), CEO of Roots Ivy International Schools, Pakistan, extending his heartiest congratulations to Roots Ivy International/ Roots School System, DHA-1 flagship campus, Islamabad, for nurturing brilliance among the youth of Pakistan.

Some of the heart wrenching narrations by the mothers and fathers of these outstanding students brought tears to many an eye.

Speaking on the occasion, an A-Levels student Umar said, "Indeed, Roots Ivy has helped us to shine, catalyzing within each one of us, in sync with our respective talents. It is due to the great efforts and dedication of Khadija Mushtaq, the most accomplished student counselor that has completely changed the lives of many deserving individuals and made a mark for Pakistan on the world map."

Roots IVY has been providing 100% scholarships to worthy students to facilitate them financially so that they can pursue their educational dreams and attain highly esteemed academic records, he said.

Other students who brought laurels by attaining outstanding results in their O &A Level final Cambridge and Edexcel Examinations, Foreign Language Exam, Common Wealth Essay competition, NYMUN, IKLC, IKMC, Robotics Championship, Sports Championships, IYLO, RIMUNs, debates, Olympiad, Performing Art competitions, Community Services (LGCF) were also awarded shields and certificates by the chief guests.

These scholars are eligible for a fully funded educational programme.
