The minister said besides structure and other facilities, new teachers would also be hired for educational institutions in line with their needs.

He said the CADD had planned to upgrade the F-7/2 IMCG to a university and necessary work in this respect had been completed.

Dr. Tariq Fazal said a training programme for Islamabad’s schools and colleges would soon begin and thus, helping improve the quality of education.

He said the country faced numerous difficulties only because of the lack of education so the government had decided to promote the education sector on priority basis.

“The past governments didn’t pay full attention to the education sector. However, the PML-N government is taking tangible steps for the promotion of this sector in the country,” he said.  The minister said besides education, the federal government was also focusing on health sector and that all hospitals of the capital would be upgraded.
