Sonu Sood to do a cameo in a Pakistani film

The recent past has seen a lot of Pakistani actors making their Bollywood debut including Mawra Hocane, Sajal Ali, Adnan Siddiqui, Saba Qamar and so on. While the number of Indian actors reciprocating is rare, word has it that one of the actors, Sonu Sood has done a cameo for an upcoming Pakistani film.

The recent past has seen a lot of Pakistani actors making their Bollywood debut including Mawra Hocane, Sajal Ali, Adnan Siddiqui, Saba Qamar and so on. While the number of Indian actors reciprocating is rare, word has it that one of the actors, Sonu Sood has done a cameo for an upcoming Pakistani film.

According to The Indian Express, Sood will make a brief appearance in actor/director Noor Bukhari’s rom-com Ishq Positive that stars Bukhari and Wali Hamid Ali Khan (singer from the band Raga Boyz) in prominent roles. Reportedly, Sood is friends with Wali and agreed to do the film because of their friendship. “I am good friends with Wali. I did Ishq Positive for our friendship,” Sood told PTI.

“It’s a cameo. I am playing myself in the film; I’ve my natural look in the film. We shot in Mumbai,” the actor added. Sources also revealed that Sood with be playing a sutradhar (stroyteller) in the film. Expected to release on July 22 this year, Ishq Positive is said to be a love triangle.

 Meanwhile it is heard that Sood has completed shooting for his upcoming Indo-Chinese film Kung Fu Yoga in which he will share screen space with Hollywood actor Jackie Chan.
