If there is any truth to the rumour that Qandeel Baloch is joining the upcoming tenth season of Bigg Boss, then it surely is a match made in heaven because both Baloch and Boss are known to be notorious and ever-surrounded by controversy.

If there is any truth to the rumour that Qandeel Baloch is joining the upcoming tenth season of Bigg Boss, then it surely is a match made in heaven because both Baloch and Boss are known to be notorious and ever-surrounded by controversy. Word around town is that Internet sensation Baloch, who gained prominence on both sides of the border after she uploaded a live video promising to strip dance if Pakistan won the ICC World T20 tournament, is among the top 5 contestants selected for the upcoming season of Indian reality series Bigg Boss.

Whether it’s just a rumour or more than that, one can’t say for sure. But it seems Baloch is keeping a close eye on the news and is having a good laugh at it. “Rumours or True? Lol!” she wrote on her official Facebook page regarding the news of her selection in Bigg Boss 10.

If true, this won’t be the first time a Pakistani celebrity participates in Bigg Boss. Earlier Ali Saleem and Veena Malik were part of Bigg Boss 4. And while Malik’s stint was rather controversial, Saleem was booted out early on in the show perhaps because he was a lot more respectable in his behaviour. Television actor Mikaal Zulfiqar was also offered an opportunity to participate in one of the seasons, however the actor refused because he felt he wouldn’t be able to generate the kind of controversy the show thrives on.

Other celebrities rumoured to be part of season 10 include names like veteran actor Kabir Bedi, actor Shiney Ahuja and actress Sana Saeed, who made her big screen debut as a child artist in Karan Johar’s Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

Season 10 will see Salman Khan reprise his role as the show’s host while the format of the show has been tweaked to include common people as contestants. Big Boss 10, which is being promoted with the tagline – ‘India Isse Apna Hi Ghar Samjho’ – will feature average folks alongside celebrities.
