Hailed for his performance in Airlift, Kumar is going back to his comedic roots with the upcoming Housefull 3 and has a bunch of films in various stages of production.
Among them is Dishoom which is being directed by Rohit Dhawan and will feature John Abraham, Akshay Kumar and Varun Dhawan while Rustom will see Kumar in the role of a naval officer with Ileana D’Cruz playing the role of his wife.
Of course, Rustom is making news because the film is going to clash on the box office with Hrithik Roshan’s Mohen Jo Daro since both films share the same release date. Leaving aside these films, perhaps the single greatest piece of news to come out of Bollywood this week is that the original cast of Hera Pheri, the ultimate Bollywood comedy since Andaz Apna Apna, is getting together for a third film.
According to a news story, Hera Pheri 3 will see Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal reprise their original roles, respectively. And if that’s not enough, Akshay also has Namastey London 2 and Jolly LLB 2 coming up.
