NANKANA SAHIB: At least nine people including five school children and a teacher were killed and 15 others critically injured in an accident at Manawala road early on Wednesday morning.
According to the details, a Liquefied Natural Gas (LPG) tanker hit a parked car as a result nine people were killed and 15 others sustained serious injuries.
The LPG tanker also exploded after the accident, damaging the near by vehicles including a school van.
The injured have been shifted to the DHQ hospital for treatments, where condition of three is said to be critical.
Sources said three critical injured men are being rushed to Lahore.
Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has expressed sorrow over the loss of precious lives and ordered investigation into the incident.
He also directed officials concerned to provide best medical facilities to the injured.
