Karachiites to have Green, Yellow bus services from Oct

KARACHI: It is expected that the public transport woes of Karachiites are likely to be addressed from next month with the launch of Green and Yellow bus services.

The announcement was made by Sindh Transport Minister, Mumtaz Jakhrani on Thursday.

The Green bus service is being launched by Sindh government while the Yellow one by the Federal government to help ease the shortage of public transport in the metropolis.

The above step is expected to bring some relief to the commuters who have to depend on substandard public transport to get from point A to B. And even these busses are so less in number that, during rush hours, the commuters don’t even find enough room to place just one foot inside.
