ISLAMABAD: Senate Functional Committee on Human Rights will discuss the incidents of women burning alive in the country on June 28 (Tuesday).
Chairperson Senate Functional Committee on Human Rights Senator Nasreen Jalil will preside over the meeting of the committee scheduled to be held in Parliament House a notice of Senate Secretariat said.
The Senate committee will be briefed on The Torture Convention adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations on December 10 1987.
The Committee will also discuss European Union on Human Rights report.
