MAKKAH: The world's largest hotel, featuring a whopping 10,000 bedrooms and 70 restaurants, the Abraj Kudai is set to open in Makkah by next year.
As per details, the Abraj Kudai will cost an estimated $3.6 billion and apart from the huge number of rooms and restaurants, it will also contain 4 helipads. Five floors of the hotel have been reserved only for the Saudi royal family and are out of bounds for the rest of the guests.
Designed by the Dar al-Handasah group, the hotel consists of twelve towers atop a 10-storied podium. The hotel, in total, is 45 stories tall and is likely to have a bus station, food courts, a shopping mall and an extravagant ballroom.
While two of the towers of the hotel will offer five-star facilities, the other 10 will provide four-star accommodation.
