India’s supersonic missile test will disturb balance of power in region: Sartaj

ISLAMABAD: The Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz has said that Indian supersonic interceptor missile test will disturb the balance of power in the region.

According to Radio Pakistan, Sartaj Aziz said, “Pakistan will raise its voice at the international level against these developments by India.”

He said Pakistan is not ignorant of its defence and will continue to upgrade its defensive capabilities, adding that “Pakistan will definitely acquire advanced technology to improve its defence.”

The advisor went on to say India is enjoying cooperation of the United States as Washington thinks a strong India is vital to contain China.

Obsessed with arms race and war hysteria India on Sunday test fired its indigenously developed supersonic interceptor missile capable of destroying any incoming hostile ballistic missile from a test range off Odisha coast.
