SHC suspends stock market ‘floor’ withdrawal
KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) has suspended until December 16 the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) order for opening the Karachi stock market and doing away with the index ‘floor’.
Munir A Malik Advocate, on behalf of Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE)’s over 100 stockbrokers, in a civil suit made the plea that over Rs11.50 billion worth of Badla financing settlements were to be done prior to the market closure and if the ‘floor’ was done away with before the introductio .....
