Toori’s identification parade not held: The identification parade of Qasim Toori and his accomplice could not be held on Saturday owing to non-fulfilment of legal requirements. Both the suspected terrorists of Jundullah were produced before Judicial Magistrate (East) Maqbool Ahmed Memon on Saturday.
Dr Ishrat Hussain new IBA director

Dr Ishrat Hussain, former governor of State Bank of Pakistan, has been made new director of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) replacing Danishmand. The Sindh Governor, who is the patron of IBA, made the new appointment. A spokesman for the Sindh Governor House on Saturday evening confirmed the appointment of the former governor of State Bank as new director if the IBA. He said the governor had also approved upgrading the status of IBA to the university and later the post of its director would also be upgraded to vice-chancellor.
Sabzi Mandi to remain closed tomorrow

The New Sabzi Mandi will remain closed on Monday (tomorrow) owing to the general elections. According to Malir Wholesale Fresh Fruit Merchants and Growers’ Association, President Muhammad Javed, the entire market would remain closed on February 18, as the growers and wholesalers would be taking part in the voting process. He said the market would be opened from Tuesday.
