Four Nato tankers destroyed in Balochistan
Wednesday, November 25, 2009
QUETTA: A trailer supplying goods to Afghanistan was partially damaged in an explosion caused by a roadside bomb planted by miscreants near Mastung on Tuesday.

Police said the trailer was on its way to Afghanistan. The local administration removed the damaged trailer from the road and started investigation.

Attacks on vehicles supplying goods to Nato forces in Afghanistan have increased during the last couple of months in various parts of the province.

Meanwhile, miscreants attacked and set on fire three oil tankers supplying fuel to Nato forces in Afghanistan near Dera Allah Yar.

District Police Officer Syed Fareed Ali told mediamen that about 10 miscreants attacked the Nato tankers and used hand grenades and light arms.

The tankers were totally destroyed before the fire brigade reached the spot. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack. Local police have registered a case and started investigation.
