| Fauzia Wahab praises Musharraf for NRO |

ISLAMABAD: PPP Information Secretary Fauzia Wahab, who attacks the media with relish, has a soft corner for former president Pervez Musharraf.While showing her liking for the general, she told a private TV channel late on Saturday night that the credit for eliminating the politics of enmity should be given to Musharraf.
Speaking to journalists when she was asked if the NRO had played a key role in eliminating the environment of confrontational politics from the country, and should the credit go to General Musharraf, she said: “Yes, he also has this credit.” These were the exact words of the PPP’s spokesperson.
She was of the view that the NRO was promulgated after efforts of people who had vision of future and they did it for democracy and for finishing the politics of enmity that was seen in the Nineties.
