 Tunisian violin concert on Nov 20

Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia in collaboration with Ministry of Culture will hold a Tunisian violin concert entitled `Strings and Wings’ here on November 20 at Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA).

The wonderful travel through violin strings around the most beautiful Tunisian and Arabic Music by Anis Kelibi, will mark the occasion of the 22nd Anniversary of the Change of the 7th November 1987.

Violinist - Anis Kelibi performs with authentic talent, creative sense and open-mindedness and is considered among the best Arabic violinist having performed and awarded over the best national and international related music events.

These music events include Arabic Music Forum and Festival Opera-House of Cairo, Egypt, International Violin Meeting of Jarash festival Jordan, the International Arabic Radio Song and Music Composition of Kuwait-City.

Tunisian violinist, composer, researcher and scholar in the Music High School of Tunis, Anis Kelibi was born in Sfax Tunisia in 1973 and held musical studies at the Music High School of Tunis where he is teaching now and preparing Doctorate on the theme of “Patrimony Science”.

Meanwhile, the Quaid-i-Millat Liaquat Ali Khan Memorial Committee will hold the inauguration of the exhibition of ‘Historic Photographs of the Founding Fathers’ on November 18th at National Art Gallery. The exhibition will remain open till November 20.
