Share this story!     Another 19 dengue patients hospitalised Tuesday, November 17, 2009 By our correspondent Karachi Nineteen dengue patients were admitted in different hospitals across the city on Monday, said a notification released by the Dengue Surveillance Cell. Apart from these newly admitted patients the number of already admitted dengue patients in the hospitals across the city is 48. Among them 26 are admitted in Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, four in Agha Khan Hospital, five in Liaquat National Hospital, four each in Civil Hospital Karachi and Jinnah Post Medical Graduate College, three in Sindh Government Hospital, and two patients are admitted in Civil Hospital Sukkur. The total number of suspected dengue patients Since January this year has now reached to 1101. Among them the test results of 654 patients were positive and 447 were confirmed negative. Seven deaths have also been reported due to dengue fever since January.
