JAMAAT-E-ISLAMI Chief Syed Munawwar Hassan has said that JI doesn’t favours mid-term elections or minus-one or minus-all formulas as these won’t bring any meaningful change.
in a press release on Sunday, he said that the country was completely under American influence and any such move at this moment would only brought in a fresh team more loyal to Washington and Hilleary Clinton, he said any adventure on minus-one move would be of no use as Asif Zardari’s exit won’t help in anyway. Free elections can be held only after end of the US interference in the country, he said.
He said JI was continuing its go-America-go movement to finish US meddling in our affairs and to expose the US tools. Pakistanis want an end to the US interference, he said.
Syed Munawwar Hassan called for an end to the military operation in Balochistan. He announced a relief package for Balochistan. The Baloch people should also be taken into confidence, he added. He said that 18 months of the government had been a total failure and the rulers did not have any scheme for economic, social and cultural uplift of the country and were only toeing the IMF line which is worsening the situation.
