Broad to have shoulder scan

BLOEMFONTEIN, South Africa: Stuart Broad has been sent for a precautionary scan after jarring his shoulder in England's 185-run victory against the Eagles here on Friday. Broad left the field during the victory having taken 2 for 28 in four overs and the management have decided on assessing the injury ahead of the second warm-up match, against the Warriors, at Kimberley on Sunday. If Broad needs to be rested, it may leave England slightly thin in the pace-bowling ranks after Graham Onions missed the opening game with a stiff back. Tim Bresnan was not selected against the Eagles so would be the likely replacement for Broad. Following Sunday's game England have one more warm-up fixture, against South Africa A at Bloemfontein, ahead of the first of two Twenty20 internationals next Friday.
