 Security at high alert in, around Sindh Secretariat

Karachi

In view of the present law and order situation, the Government of Sindh has declared high alert in and around the Sindh Secretariat premises, a government spokesman said on Monday. Therefore, all officers have been directed to leave their offices and the secretariat premises by 4.30pm and 1.30pm (Friday) sharp daily. The general public are allowed entry into the Secretariat Buildings and Barracks for only two hours, i.e. 11.00am to 1.00pm after proper identification and verification. These timings should continue for two weeks. All departments’ officials have been directed to cooperate with the security personnel and show their I.D. Cards. The officials concerned have been directed to implement the said directives so that proper security measures may be maintained in and around the secretariat premises.
